Die Zentralbank der Zentralafrikanischen Staaten (BEAC) ist die wichtigste Währungsinstitution der Zentralafrikanischen Wirtschafts- und Währungsgemeinschaft (CEMAC). Sie fungiert als Zentralbank für sechs Länder: Kamerun, die Zentralafrikanische Republik, die Republik Kongo, Äquatorialguinea und Tschad. Ihr Hauptsitz befindet sich in Yaoundé. Sie ging aus der Zentralbank der Äquatorialafrikanischen Staaten und Kameruns hervor. Die Banque de France garantiert die Konvertierbarkeit des CFA-Franc in den Französischen Franc und seit 1999 auch in den Euro..
