Médaille, conservée dans un écrin bleu, issue du médaillier Franklin qui met à l’honneur le tableau de Léonard de Vinci : La Vierge aux rochers (1483-1486). Commandée par la Confraternité de l’Immaculée Conception pour sa chapelle à l’église San Francesco Grande de Milan, elle est désormais conservée au Musée du Louvre à Paris.

Théoriquement, le poinçon crabe est censé indiquer un titrage à 800 millièmes.
Medal, preserved in a blue case, from the Franklin medalist who honors Leonardo da Vinci's painting: The Virgin of the Rocks (1483-1486). Commissioned by the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception for its chapel in the church of San Francesco Grande in Milan, it is now kept at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
