SPANIA - PRINCIPAUTY OF CATALONIA - LOUIS XIII
(1640-1643)
Am 16. Dezember 1640 revoltierten die Katalanen gegen ihren Lehnsherrn Philipp IV. von Spanien (1621–1665) und riefen die Franzosen um Hilfe. Ludwig XIII. nimmt den Titel Graf von Barcelona an, die Franzosen fallen im September 1642 im Roussillon ein und nehmen am 9. September Perpignan ein.
