Flan un peu court pour ce denier très léger, aux types centrés, mais avec les légendes hors flan. Patine grise et granuleuse sur un métal de bas aloi, fortement cristallisé

Ce style de tête correspond étrangement à certaines monnaies de Rouen. Cependant, aucune de ces monnaies n’est répertoriée avec un A croiseté au revers. Ce type est pourtant attesté à Rouen (cf. B. 3855) avec la légende ROTOMOC autour et la traditionnelle fleur au revers.
Ce denier très léger semble donc inédit ; il est difficile de restituer le nom du monétaire, mais les types de droit et de revers (pris individuellement) correspondent au monnayage d’argent de Rouen.
This head style strangely corresponds to certain Rouen coins. However, none of these coins are recorded with a crossed A on the reverse. This type is however attested in Rouen (cf. B. 3855) with the legend ROTOMOC around it and the traditional flower on the reverse. This very light denarius therefore seems to be unprecedented; it is difficult to restore the name of the mint, but the obverse and reverse types (taken individually) correspond to the silver coinage of Rouen
