Ce denier a la particularité d’avoir un petit croissant à droite de l’M à l’avers et un annelet pointé à midi au revers.
Ces détails ne semblent pas être représentés sur l’échantillon de monnaies de cette série reprises dans le Belfort. Mais la monnaie B. 6649, associée à un autre type de revers (avec ARCF, cf. MONNAIES 44, n° 1) a ce même avers avec le croissant.

Tous les exemplaires que nous avons vus ont l’E à gauche du M à l’avers (sauf le n° 605 de MONNAIES XI). Pour le monogramme du revers, les deux types sont connus (cf. MONNAIES 34, n° 1344 et 1346 dans le même sens que ce denier ou MONNAIES XI, n° 605 et MONNAIES 36, n° 1345 et 1346 dans l’autre sens, plus habituel).
This denarius has the particularity of having a small crescent to the right of the M on the obverse and a pointed annulet at noon on the reverse. These details do not seem to be represented on the sample of coins from this series included in the Belfort. But the coin B. 6649, associated with another type of reverse (with ARCF, cf. COINS 44, no. 1) has this same obverse with the crescent. All the examples we have seen have the E to the left of the M on the obverse (except no. 605 of COINS XI). For the reverse monogram, both types are known (cf. COINS 34, no. 1344 and 1346 in the same direction as this denarius or COINS XI, no. 605 and COINS 36, no. 1345 and 1346 in the other, more usual direction)
