Beschreibung Rückseite Sanglier enseigne à gauche, la queue en une sorte d’annelet ; double volute sur une ligne d'exergue pointée en son centre et à ses extrémités, surmontée d’un motif en forme de croix oblique.
Kommentare
Ce revers, appartenant à la classe Ib, a la particularité d’avoir la croix élevée et inclinée (cf. Zürich n°568). Cette variante semble rare. On distingue sur cet exemplaire le trou dans la partie supérieure du bandeau.

Die Leuques werden in den Gallischen Kriegen nur einmal erwähnt. Ihre Nachbarn waren die Médiomatriques, die Lingons und die Séquanes. Die Leuques sowie die Séquanes und die Lingones versorgten Caesar mit Weizen, als die römische Armee in Vesontio (Besançon) Halt machte, um aufzutanken, bevor sie sich den Germanen von Ariovistus stellte (58 v.
