Quand on regarde la tête au droit, nous pourrions avoir affaire aussi bien au portrait d'Apollon, copié directement sur les bronzes de Marseille qu'à celui de Vénus, peut-être imité des bronzes d'Antibes. Aucun attribut ne permet d'affirmer que nous sommes en présence d'un portrait d'Artémis.
Cet exemplaire est particulièrement intéressant, avec les légendes de droit et de revers presque entières.
When we look at the head on the obverse, we could be dealing with a portrait of Apollo, copied directly from the Marseille bronzes, or with that of Venus, perhaps imitated from the Antibes bronzes. No attribute allows us to affirm that we are in the presence of a portrait of Artemis. This example is particularly interesting, with the obverse and reverse legends almost complete.

(1. Jahrhundert v. Chr.)
Die arecomischen Volques, die derselben Gruppe oder demselben Volk (Volk) angehörten, wären im 3. Jahrhundert v. Chr. aus den Donauregionen ausgewandert, um sich im Süden Galliens niederzulassen. Sie befanden sich in einem Teil der heutigen Departements Gard und Hérault und ihre Hauptstadt war Nemausus (Nîmes). Normalerweise wurde auf ihrem Territorium im Jahr 118 v. Chr. Narbo Martius (Narbonne) gegründet, das später die Hauptstadt der Provincia werden sollte. Quellen: Caesar (BG. VII, 7, 64); Strabo (G. IV, 1, 12).
