Beschreibung Rückseite Sanglier enseigne à gauche, la queue en une sorte d’annelet ; double volute sur une ligne d'exergue pointée en son centre et à ses extrémités, surmontée d’un motif en forme de croix.
Kommentare
Comme pour la classe Id2, Ic1 et Ic2 la classe Ib présente un bandeau lisse en forme d'aiguille. Sa caractéristique du revers est une double volute sur une ligne d'exergue pointée en son centre et à ses extrémités (comme pour la classe Ia), surmontée d’un motif en forme de croix. On distingue sur cet exemplaire le trou dans la partie supérieure du bandeau. Le poids relevé, était erroné lors de son passage dans Monnaies II ; ce potin ne pèse pas 3,07 mais 3,97 grammes.
As with class Id2, Ic1 and Ic2, class Ib has a smooth needle-shaped band. Its reverse characteristic is a double volute on an exergue line pointed in its center and at its ends (as with class Ia), surmounted by a cross-shaped motif. On this example, the hole in the upper part of the band can be seen. The weight recorded was incorrect when it was included in Coins II; this potin does not weigh 3.07 but 3.97 grams

Die Leuques werden in den Gallischen Kriegen nur einmal erwähnt. Ihre Nachbarn waren die Médiomatriques, die Lingons und die Séquanes. Die Leuques sowie die Séquanes und die Lingones versorgten Caesar mit Weizen, als die römische Armee in Vesontio (Besançon) Halt machte, um aufzutanken, bevor sie sich den Germanen von Ariovistus stellte (58 v.
