bga_891771 - BITURIGES CUBI, UNBEKANNT Drachme “de Cheverny”, tête et cavalier à gauche

Ce type dit “de Cheverny” est déjà très rare (représenté par un seul exemplaire à la BN ; ce même exemplaire est cité par Hucher en 1874, comme venant du Trésor de Vernon), mais cet exemplaire est tout à fait exceptionnel, avec un droit et un revers à gauche.
La série 1094 du Nouvel Atlas, est composée de deux exemplaires. Le DT. 3452 a une tête à droite et le DT. 3453 a une tête à gauche ! Mais ces deux exemplaires, d’un style hétérogène, ont un revers à droite.
Le nouvel exemplaire S3453A a bien le droit et le revers à gauche, mais il est très dégénéré et mal frappé par rapport à la monnaie proposé ici !

Le style de la tête n’est pas sans rappeler celui du bronze LT. 6202 ou DT. 2605 attribué aux Carnutes (?).
