bga_240004 - GALLIEN - BELGICA - AMBIANI (Region die Amiens) Bronze au cheval et au sanglier

Sur cet exemplaire, les annelets centrés sont hors flan devant le visage, mais bien nets derrière le cheval. Sous le cheval, le sanglier posé sur sa hampe est bien une enseigne (partiellement hors flan ici).
Techniquement, ce flan est comparable à celui du bronze ROVECA bga_241265.
La face frappée par le droit se trouvait dans le fond du moule en chapelet, avec une empreinte régulière et un penon de coulée bien net. Le revers est frappé sur une plus grande surface, résultats d’un surplus de métal. Le poids de 4,04 grammes est d'ailleurs relativement lourd pour ce type.
On this example, the centered annulets are off-flan in front of the face, but clearly visible behind the horse. Under the horse, the boar perched on its pole is indeed a sign (partially off-flan here). Technically, this flan is comparable to that of the bronze ROVECA bga_241265. The face struck by the obverse was in the bottom of the rosary mold, with a regular impression and a clearly visible casting pennon. The reverse is struck over a larger surface, the result of a surplus of metal. The weight of 4.04 grams is relatively heavy for this type.
