En 1936, il y a deux types de 10 Cent :
- un type au nom de Georges V (décédé le 20 janvier 1936) à 500.000 exemplaires
- un type au nom d’Édouard VII à 2.000.000 d’exemplaires pour l’atelier de Londres, 4.330.000 exemplaires pour Heaton et 4.121.000 pour Kings Norton.
Administrée jusqu’en 1895 par l’Imperial British East Africa Company, l’Afrique de l’Est britannique devient colonie en 1920. Elle comprenait le Kenya et l’Ouganda devenus respectivement indépendants en 1963 et 1962.
In 1936, there were two types of 10 Cent: - a type in the name of George V (died on January 20, 1936) with 500,000 examples - a type in the name of Edward VII with 2,000,000 examples for the London mint, 4,330,000 examples for Heaton and 4,121,000 for Kings Norton. Administered until 1895 by the Imperial British East Africa Company, British East Africa became a colony in 1920. It included Kenya and Uganda, which became independent in 1963 and 1962 respectively
