L'amani ou tilla vaut 10 roupies de Kaboul ou 20 Qiran, 30 Abassi ou 600 paisa. Ce type ne fut frappé qu'en 1919. Le calendrier utilisé par Amanoullah n'est plus le calendrier lunaire, mais le calendrier solaire. Le changement est intervenu en 1920 quand un décret royal décida que l'année de l'Hégire ou lunaire 1338 deviendrait l'année solaire 1298.
The amani or tilla is worth 10 Kabul rupees or 20 Qiran, 30 Abassi or 600 paisa. This type was not minted until 1919. The calendar used by Amunullah is no longer the lunar calendar, but the solar calendar. The change came in 1920 when a royal decree decided that the Hijri or lunar year 1338 would become the solar year 1298.
