Médaille conservée dans un écrin bleu “Monnaies et Médailles du Monde”.
Cette médaille montrant l'avion supersonique représente les cinq continents avec les cinq étoiles. L'avion fut mis en projet dès 1956. Le projet fut lancé en 1962. Le premier vol du prototype eut lieu en 1969. L'avion est mis en service à partir de 1975 et relie Paris-Rio en 1976 et Paris-New-York l'année suivante. Son exploitation commerciale sera sabotée par les USA.

The project was launched in 1962. The first flight of the prototype took place in 1969.
