REUNION INSEL
Die Insel wurde 1513 von den portugiesischen Mascarenhas entdeckt und 1638 französisch. Die Insel erhielt den Namen Bourbon Island, ihre Konzession wurde 1664 an die East India Company vergeben und 1793 wurde sie zur Insel La Réunion. Seit 1946 ist es eines der vier Überseedepartements..
