SUÈDE
Das 19. Jahrhundert war in Schweden von einer Wiederbelebung der Medaille und der Münze geprägt. Die größte Kupferstecherin des 19. Jahrhunderts war Léa Alhborn (1826-1895). Sie begann 1854 mit dem Gravieren und war von 1860 bis zu ihrem Tod Schwedens produktivste Künstlerin. Sie gravierte auch alle Münzen des Königreichs Schweden von Karl XV. (1859–1872) und Oscar II. (1872–1907)..
