Ce type précis a été classé par Kellner en Type V D, en 1984. Forrer illustrait une monnaie de ce type (pl. 12, n° 24) provenant de Manching et conservée au musée de Munich où elle rentra en 1964 sous le n° 1424. Les quarts de statère semblent nettement plus courants, alors que les statères unifaces à la croix sont très rares. Cet exemplaire est le premier que nous proposons !
Un important trésor de monnaies de ce type est conservé et exposé au MAN, sans être trop mentionné dans la littérature.
This specific type was classified by Kellner as Type VD in 1984. Forrer illustrated a coin of this type (pl. 12, no. 24) from Manching and kept at the Munich Museum, where it returned in 1964 under no. 1424. Quarter staters seem to be much more common, while single-sided staters with a cross are very rare. This example is the first one we are offering! A large hoard of coins of this type is kept and exhibited at the MAN, without being mentioned much in the literature
