VINDELICI (Germania)
(2. Jahrhundert v. Chr. – 1. Jahrhundert n. Chr.)
Die Vindeliker galten als ein Volk keltischen Ursprungs. Möglicherweise kontrollierten sie das Quellgebiet des Rheins sowie die Region Bodensee und Inntal. Ihre Nachbarn waren die Helvetier und die Boier. Ihr Hauptoppidum war Brigantion (Bregenz). Sie wurden nur von Tiberius während des Feldzugs von 15 v. Chr. vorgelegt. Strabo (IV. 3, 6; VII, 1, 5); Plinius (HN. III, 133); Tacitus (An. II, 17); Ptolemaios (G. II, 12). Kruta: 69.
