THRAKIEN - KALLATIS
(3. – 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr.)
Callatis, in Niedermoesien gelegen, war eine Kolonie von Heraclea Pontica, etwa vierzig Kilometer von Tomis entfernt. Lucullus eroberte Callatis im Jahr 72 v. Chr. und setzte der Münzprägung der Stadt ein Ende.
