Kommentare
Ces petits bronzes sont assez courants mais très diversifiés, avec des combinaisons d’avers et de revers dans les deux sens. Cet exemplaire avec un avers à droite et un revers à gauche est du type classique.

GALLIEN - BELGICA - REMI (Region die Reims)
(2. – 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr.)
Die Remer waren eines der mächtigsten Völker Galliens und treue Verbündete der Römer. Das Gebiet der Rèmes erstreckte sich über die heutige Champagne entlang der Aisne. Sie hatten als Nachbarn die Atuatuci, die Treveri, die Mediomatrics, die Lingones, die Suessions, die Bellovaci und die Nervians. Sie verurteilten Caesar gegenüber die Koalition der belgischen Völker von 57 v. Chr., zu der auch die Suessions gehörten, die dieselben Gesetze und dieselben Richter hatten. Ihr Hauptoppidum war Bibrax. Die Hauptstadt der Civitas in galloromanischer Zeit war Durocortorum (Reims). Caesar (BG. II, 3-5, 7, 12; III, 11; V, 3, 24, 53, 54, 56; VI, 4, 12, 44; VII, 63, 90; VIII, 6, 11) . Strabo (G. IV, 3, 5). Kruta: 70, 313-314, 366.
