Une des premières apparitions de ce potin semble être le n° 383 de la collection A. Trampitsch, 13-15 novembre 1986. Ce potin y était attribué aux Suessions ou aux Bellovaques. Lors de la parution du Nouvel Atlas, les auteurs l'ont pourtant considéré comme une monnaie "originale" ou inédite, en précisant que "plusieurs provenances ont été signalées au nord de la vallée de la Seine, entre les confluents de l'Aube et de la Marne". Il constitue la variété 2 du “potin à l’Y”. H. Patat le classe quant à lui aux Parisii.

Unter dem Begriff Pariser Region werden alle Münzen zusammengefasst, im Allgemeinen aus Bronze oder Zinn, die nicht den Parisii zugeschrieben werden können, auch wenn manchmal einige ihrer Kopien in Paris, in der Seine, gefunden wurden. Diese „peripheren“ Münzen sind häufig lokal oder in geografischen Gebieten der heutigen Region Paris zu finden. Müssen wir Sie daran erinnern, dass sich die Parisii erst spät von Senones Aufsicht emanzipiert haben, auch wenn dieses Klischee heute manchmal in Frage gestellt wird? Diese Pagi-Münzen müssen ein begrenztes Verbreitungsgebiet gehabt haben und sind auch heute noch oft selten. Auch hier wird nur eine genaue Karte der Fundverteilung ein besseres Verständnis und eine bessere Einordnung dieser Münzen ermöglichen, die nur wenig bekannt sind, weil sich die verschiedenen Beteiligten nicht die Mühe machen wollen, sie bekannt zu machen..
