Jan Laski (1456-1531) était Grand Chancelier de la couronne, puis archevêque de Gniezno et primat de Pologne. Il réalisa la première codification des lois du Royaume de Pologne. Il ne faut pas le confondre avec son neveu, Jan Laski ou Jean de Lasco (1499-1560) qui fut un théologien et réformateur protestant polonais..
Jan Laski (1456-1531) was Grand Chancellor of the Crown, later Archbishop of Gniezno and Primate of Poland. He carried out the first codification of the laws of the Kingdom of Poland. He should not be confused with his nephew, Jan Laski or John of Lasco (1499-1560), who was a Polish theologian and Protestant reformer.
