Si le denier précédent n° 1344 est désormais classé à Melle, cette obole doit clairement y être associée. Dans leur récent article sur les oboles mérovingiennes, M. Dhénin et P. Schiesser mentionnent quatre oboles de cette série “qui sont à rapprocher des deniers Belfort 2885-2888 et 6645-6648”.
