Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle pour ce type de monnayage, parfaitement centré des deux côtés de haut relief et bien venu à la frappe. Très joli droit où les détails de la galère et des hoplites sont parfaitement visibles. Revers saisissant de vérité. Recouvert d’une très belle patine avec des reflets mordorés

Byblos, auch bekannt als „Gebal“, das moderne Jbaïl, liegt 30 km nördlich von Beirut, dem antiken Beryte. Für das 4. Jahrhundert v. Chr. kennen wir die Namen folgender Könige: Elpaal, Azbaal, Adramelek und Ainel. Sie alle haben die gleiche monetäre Typologie.
