Kommentare
Les gisements de plomb et d’argent de Gar-Rouban, près de la frontière marocaine, ont été découverts en 1850 et exploités à partir de 1856. À son apogée (1860-1862), cette mine produit 3000 tonnes par an de galène (sulfure naturel de plomb) mais la production baisse rapidement jusqu’à la liquidation de la société d’exploitation en 1869.

MINES ET FORGES
Die Numismatik der Minen war Gegenstand einer Studie von Jules Florange aus dem Jahr 1904. Dieser listete das numismatische Material im Zusammenhang mit den Minen auf: Medaillen, Anwesenheitsmarken, Notmarken oder Treuhandgelder, Marken der Minenaufseher. Eine weitere bemerkenswerte Arbeit ist die Arbeit der Association of Coin Collectors im Jahr 1999.
