Titulatur der Vorderseite ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Beschreibung Vorderseite Tête à gauche poupine, avec trois points verticaux figurant la base du nez et la bouche ; œil marqué d'un point ; chevelure frisée ; pas de cou.

Rückseite

Titulatur der Rückseite ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Beschreibung Rückseite Croix formée de quatre cantons ; besant aux 1er , 2e et 4e cantons ; hache pleine à gauche, le manche bouleté deux fois au sommet et deux fois à sa base au 3e canton.

G. Savès faisait remarquer que l’exemplaire S. 287* a la particularité d'avoir "une hache pleine placée près de l'œil, le manche vertical descendant le long de la joue, et relié par un trait au bout du nez". La hache du revers est d'un très bon style et complète. Malheureusement, les auteurs de Moneta 28 ont fait l'amalgame de toutes les monnaies avec ce revers, apparemment sans se soucier des droits ; leur répertoire est donc inutilisable !

G. Savès noted that copy S. 287* has the particularity of having \\\"a full axe placed near the eye, the vertical handle descending along the cheek, and connected by a line to the tip of the nose.\\\" The axe on the reverse is in very good style and complete. Unfortunately, the authors of Moneta 28 have lumped together all the coins with this reverse, apparently without worrying about the rights; their repertoire is therefore unusable! Same obverse and reverse dies as the Savès copy sold in MONNAIES XXIII, no. 728
