Historischer Hintergrund
ITALIE - ROYAUME D'ITALIE - HUMBERT Ier
(20.01.1878-29.07.1900)
Humbert (1844–1900) war der Sohn von Viktor-Emmanuel II. und Marie-Adélaïde de Habsbourg. Er trat 1878 die Nachfolge seines Vaters an. Er heiratete seine Cousine Marguerite de Savoie (1851–1926). Er wurde am 29. Juli 1900 von Gaétan Bresci ermordet. Sein Sohn Victor-Emmanuel III (1869-1947) folgte ihm nach.
