Les hémistatères aux types de Philippe sont rares. Plusieurs monnaies de ce type figurent dans le Nouvel Atlas ; DT. 3005 du “type de Montmorot”, DT. 3019 du “type au Xi”, DT. 30 et S30A de la série dite “à la fleur”. La composition de la chevelure est en tous points identique à celle du DT. 30 ! Ce type est repris comme classe 3 du “Serpent Bee” par J. Sills ; il n’a recensé que trois exemplaires (Viennes n° 311, DT. 30 et BN 10278). La légende du revers est très stylisée et déjà presque géométrique.
Avec ce poids très élevé, cet hémistatère correspondrait à un statère de 8,36 grammes, ce qui correspond aux premières imitations de Philippe datées du milieu du IIIe siècle.

The composition of the hair is identical in all respects to that of DT. 30! This type is included as class 3 of the “Serpent Bee” by J. Sills; he only recorded three examples (Viennes no. 311, DT. 30 and BN 10278). The legend on the reverse is very stylized and already almost geometric. With this very high weight, this hemistatery would correspond to a stater of 8.36 grams, which corresponds to the first imitations of Philip dated from the middle of the 3rd century
