ESPAGNE - ROYAUME D'ESPAGNE - ISABELLE ET FERDINAND LES ROIS CATHOLIQUES

(1476-1516)

Isabella (1451-1504) war seit 1474 Königin von Kastilien. Sie hatte Ferdinand von Aragon (1452-1516) geheiratet, seit 1479 König von Aragon. Nach der Eroberung Granadas im Jahr 1492 waren sie Monarchen von ganz Spanien. Isabelle half Christoph Kolumbus bei der Finanzierung der Expedition, die es ihm ermöglichte, Amerika zu entdecken.
