Le territoire du Sinaï est occupé depuis 1967 par l’armée israélienne suite à la Guerre des Six Jours. A partir de 1975, des pourparlers entre l’Égypte et Israël puis les accords de Camp David et enfin le traité de 1979, permirent la restitution du Sinaï à l’Égypte en 1982.
The Sinai territory has been occupied by the Israeli army since 1967 following the Six-Day War. From 1975, talks between Egypt and Israel, followed by the Camp David Accords and finally the 1979 treaty, led to the return of the Sinai to Egypt in 1982.
