Nicolas Joseph Cugnot (1725-1804), ingénieur militaire français, est connu pour avoir conçu et réalisé entre 1769 et 1771 le premier véhicule automobile : un fardier d’artillerie mû par une machine à vapeur à deux cylindres.
This is the 75th medal in an edition of 150. Nicolas Joseph Cugnot (1725-1804), a French military engineer, is known for having designed and built the first motor vehicle between 1769 and 1771: an artillery wagon powered by a two-cylinder steam engine.
