An exceptional example of a rare and sought-after type, adorned with a beautiful portrait. With such a weight, this quarter without a known unit stater would correspond to a heavy stater, weighing nearly 8 grams. Missing from all the museums consulted and from most private collections! In the New Atlas, this coin is listed as belonging to the Normandy group. However, the provenances are further south and this type of quarter is rather to be attributed to the Carnutes
