Cette série commémore le dollar de 5 shillings troué (The Holey Dollar) obtenu à partir de monnaies de 8 Reales espagnoles à l’effigie de Charles III. L’avers arborait en plus l’inscription NEW SOUTH WALES // 1813 et le revers FIVE SHILLINGS. Le centre de la monnaie a été aussi utilisé pour fabriquer une monnaies de 15 Pence (The Dump) avec inscriptions NEW · SOUTH · WALES

Set consisting of two coins: - 25 Cents “The Dump” KM# 113, 7.78 g, 999/1000 silver - 1 Dollar “The Holey Dollar” KM# 112, 21.1 g, 999/1000 silver This series commemorates the holey dollar of 5 shillings (The Holey Dollar) obtained from Spanish 8 Reales coins bearing the effigy of Charles III. The obverse also bore the inscription NEW SOUTH WALES // 1813 and the reverse FIVE SHILLINGS. The center of the coin was also used to make a 15 Pence coin (The Dump) with inscriptions NEW · SOUTH · WALES 1813 on the obverse and FIFTEEN / • PENCE on the reverse
