Historischer Hintergrund
ANNAM - KHAI DINH
(1916-1925)
Prinz Buu Dao, Sohn von Kaiser Dong Khanh (1885–1889), kleiner Neffe von Tu Duc, trat die Nachfolge von Duy Tan (1907–1916) an, der im Mai 1916 gegen Frankreich revoltiert hatte und nach Réunion verbannt wurde. Buu Dao nahm den Namen Khai Dinh an, als er Kaiser von Annam wurde. Er steht unter dem Schutz der Franzosen. Er starb am 6. November 1925. Sein Sohn Prinz Vinh Thuy (1913-1997) folgte ihm unter dem Namen Bao Dai nach. Dies sollte der letzte Kaiser von Annam sein (1926-1945).
