(17.03.1861-09.01.1878)
Victor-Emmanuel II. (14.03.1820-09.01.1878), Sohn von Charles-Albert und Therese von Toskana, trat die Nachfolge seines Vaters an, der 1849 abdankte. In zwölf Jahren, mit Hilfe von Cavour und dem Bündnis mit Frankreich Er wird 1861 das Königreich Italien zu seinen Gunsten wiederherstellen, nimmt Rom jedoch erst 1870 ein.
