Cette pièce présente une petite tête de Saint-Jean en contremarque au droit. Ce type peut avoir été contremarqué au moment de l'occupation française (1642-1659). Le Roussillon est définitivement rattaché en 1659 par la Paix des Pyrénées.

ROUSSILLON - VILLE DE PERPIGNAN - PHILIPPE II D'ESPAGNE
(25.10.1555-13.09.1598)
Philipp II. (1527–1598) ist der Sohn von Karl V. und Isabella von Portugal. Er trat die Nachfolge seines Vaters an, der 1555 in den Spanischen Niederlanden und 1556 für Spanien und Amerika zu seinen Gunsten abdankte. Er heiratete nacheinander Marie von Portugal (1527–1545), dann seine Cousine Marie Tudor (1516–1558), Königin von England, 1560 Elisabeth von Frankreich (1545–1568) und schließlich Anna von Österreich (1549–1580). Er kämpft gegen das Frankreich von Heinrich II., dann von Heinrich IV. Er unterstützt die Gegenreformation. Er gewann 1571 den Sieg von Lepanto. Er starb 1598 und sein Sohn Philippe folgte ihm nach.
