The obverse features Mount Triglav (Three Heads), the highest peak in Slovenia, which also appears on the national flag, the inscription \\\"Oj Triglav moj dom\\\" (Oh Triglav, my home), and the constellation Cancer (the sign under which Slovenia achieved its independence in 1991). The reverse features the new common side with the map of the 27-member European Union (rather than the 15 members of the first type).
