Alfred Lacroix (1863-1948) est un minéralogiste, pétrographe et géologue, volcanologue français, professeur au Muséum national d'histoire naturelle et membre du Collège de France. Il fut secrétaire perpétuel de l'Académie des sciences pendant 34 ans.
Alfred Lacroix (1863-1948) was a French mineralogist, petrographer, geologist, volcanologist, professor at the National Museum of Natural History, and member of the Collège de France. He was permanent secretary of the French Academy of Sciences for 34 years.
