Terrorisés par les corps francs allemands, la population polonaise se révolte en 1919, de nouveau en 1920 suite à un référendum. Finalement, une troisième insurrection en 1921 permet le rattachement de la partie orientale à la Pologne

After the collapse of the German Empire, Silesia, populated by Germans and Poles, was the subject of intense negotiations as part of the Treaty of Versailles. Terrorized by the German Freikorps, the Polish population revolted in 1919, and again in 1920 following a referendum. Finally, a third insurrection in 1921 led to the annexation of the eastern part of Poland.
