Il semble illogique que ce jeton ne porte pas de poinçon mais il est très possible qu’il soit en réalité frappé en Belgique, probablement à Bruxelles, ou pour la Belgique, donc pour l’export. En effet, le type au buste janiforme se trouve avec les Bains de Caroline ainsi que le jeton de Monsieur Victor de Swarte. Nous avons supposé que l’animal dans le champ droit est une taupe par association d’idée avec la Fortune aveuglée.
